Internship in International Organizations (EN)

The European Union, the European Central Bank, the UN, the World Bank, UNESCO and the WHO: these are just some of the international organisations that regularly offer internship opportunities in Brussels, New York, Geneva, Paris, London and many other large and medium-sized cities around the world. In addition to these institutions, there are thousands of non-profit organisations working in areas such as human rights, environmental and social policy, cultural events, economic interests and technological development. These organisations are ready to welcome interns for a training period of between 3 and 6 months at an international level. To access these opportunities, you need language skills and an excellent academic record. Relevant experience gained outside your home country and civic engagement at home are considered an advantage. Personal qualities are also required, such as communication skills, the ability to adapt, confidence in intercultural contexts and, particularly outside Europe, excellent health. Successfully securing an internship is a tough challenge, as competition comes from all corners of the world. During the webinar, the speaker, Bernd Faas, will outline the opportunities, requirements and planning involved in building a career characterised by international exposure and professional success.
